Malaysian Dietitians’ Association 23rd National Conference

Theme: Advancing Clinical Nutrition Care in Dietetics

Once again MDA is proud to organise the 23rd National Conference from 10-11 July, 2017 in Kuala Lumpur! We are focusing on the core functions of dietitians to provide evidence-based nutrition care to ensure recovery and restoration of good nutrition status and well-being in our clients and patients.

The key objective of this year’s conference is ensure attendees propel their skills and competencies in clinical dietetics. The up-to-date science in clinical dietetics will be covered by the content of the plenary and concurrent sessions. The signature of MDA conferences are the interactive case discussions, sharing sessions by fellow members and hands-on workshops will be conducted by well-qualified facilitators in their various fields of clinical dietetics.

Members are invited to submit your case presentations and research work to share with colleagues. We also invite our fellow healthcare partners i.e. doctors, nurses and allied health professionals to join in this learning to enhance knowledge and skills in clinical nutrition care.

On behalf of the MDA Council and Organising Committee, we look forward to meeting all of you at the Conference!

Warm regards,

Prof Winnie Chee
President & 23rd MDA Conference Chairperson
